13.12.2011

After completed modernization, POL-DRÓG Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) put the Bydgoska and Szczytnicka Streets in Legnica, Poland, to road traffic - before the scheduled deadline. On November 26, 2010 Municipality of Legnica and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe SA Zakład Linii Kolejowych (Railway Lines Enterprise) in Wroclaw commissioned the company to implement the investment. Total investment cost amounted to almost 8.5 million PLN.

Construction was completed in a consortium with company BUDRIM Sp. z o.o. headquartered in Kunice, Poland. The scope of designated work included the placement of more than 8,000 m2 of bituminous road surface and 8,500 m2 of sidewalks and bike paths. Parking spaces were constructed, and green spaces organized; noise barriers were erected, too. The scope of work also included adjustment of road lighting network, drainage of area and canalization of data & communication (ICT) - broadband network. The investment included reconstruction of railway crossing of category “D”, where the special rubber plates INNOSTRAIL type were used.
